I hold regular chair seating and traditional upholstery workshops, generally at weekends, throughout the year. Weekday classes can be arranged to suit individual requirements, or I am happy to come and tutor a group locally where there is sufficient demand.

A student should expect to re-seat an average-sized chair using either cane or rush within two lessons. No previous experience of seat weaving is needed, though a plentiful supply of patience would be helpful! All necessary tools are available, and materials are supplied at cost.

Please don't hesitate to contact me should you wish to discuss a particular project. The classes are small and friendly with a ready supply of tea or coffee and home-baking, as well as a light lunch.
